About Tyler Grid
An independent software studio in Bakersfield, California. We design, build and run our own products.
Why a grid.
A power grid's job is simple to say and hard to do: carry something useful from where it's made to where it's needed, reliably, every day.
Tyler Grid is run by Austin Thomas. The studio builds tools for problems we live with first: keeping a car's records straight, getting a shop the information it needs, and keeping hours and pay straight for people who work by the hour. Each product is used or tested hard before anyone else is asked to rely on it.
What we're building.
Your garage, intelligently organized.
For car owners and enthusiasts.
In testingBuilt for the shops behind the machines.
For independent shops: owners, service advisors and technicians.
PrototypeIntelligence, under your control.
For hourly workers who want their hours, pay and vehicles in one place.
Private betaHow we work.
- Tested before it's trusted
Paddock Garage and Morpheus are used day to day by the people building them. Paddock Shop is worked through a full simulated shop before any real shop relies on it.
- Plain labels
Concept, prototype, in testing, private beta, available. If a product isn't ready, the label says so.
- Sample data, labelled
The product screens on this site use invented cars, shops, people and numbers.
